Every route here leaves San Antonio, and three of the four list a guide or instructor in front. That is what lets you ride without a licence under Spanish rules. The routes differ in distance and in what you see at the end.

What only applies in Ibiza
- Under Royal Decree 259/2002 you need a licence to drive a jet ski in Spain, except on hourly rentals run as guided group rides, individual rides with an instructor or on a circuit. The October 2026 rental reform did not change this.
- Inside the 200-metre strip off any beach, jet skis may only cross straight in or out at under 3 knots. Marked swimming zones are closed to them.
- Ses Margalides are two islets off the Es Amunts cliffs north of San Antonio. Na Foradada has an arch at its base that small boats without masts can pass through.
- The longer route heads down the west coast to Es Vedrà, a nature reserve since 2002. Riders see it from the water, landing is not part of the trip.
Who this is not for
Not for children driving. On the two most reviewed routes drivers must be over 16 with parental permission, and children ride from 8 as passengers. Not advised in pregnancy or with back injuries.
What to bring
