Dalt Vila

Dalt Vila is the fortified old town crowning Ibiza Town, a UNESCO listed maze of cobbled lanes climbing inside huge Renaissance walls. Behind the great stone gate you find whitewashed houses, small galleries, a hilltop cathedral and ramparts that open onto sweeping views of the harbour and the sea. It is best explored on foot in the cool of the evening, when the bastions glow gold and the lights of the marina flicker far below.
